Whole School Fluency

‘Building Fluency’ is the first milestone in NSC’s Curriculum Roadmap.  We believe that a lack of fluency in literacy and numeracy skills can be a huge barrier to students’ learning, which is why we prioritise removing these barriers in our curriculum as quickly as possible so everyone can access, enjoy and achieve in our curriculum.  We take a whole school approach and believe it is the responsibility of every teacher and department to incorporate strategies and resources within their teaching and curriculum to build students’ fluency in literacy and numeracy.
