BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Dance
Are you passionate about Dance? Would you like a future career in Performance? Have you got experience of dancing, enjoy working as part of a team, are hard-working and determined? Then this could be the course for you.
Course Overview
This is a full-time course equivalent to 3 A Levels, which allows learners to specialise in Performing Arts with a focus on dance. This course provides each learner with an opportunity to progress onto a higher level of dance education or the professional dance industry.
Entrance Requirements
To study Level 3 Dance, students require a GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English. Dance GCSE or BTEC Level 2 is advantageous but not essential. Students will also require prior dance training or dance qualifications in any discipline.
They will be required to audition, which will consist of a Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary Dance class, along with a short interview with our specialist teachers.
Students are also expected to show a wider interest in the Arts.
