Course Overview
This course develops a broad understanding of how people learn from birth through to adulthood, combining educational theory with practical, work-related tasks that reflect real world practice. Throughout the qualification, students will develop valuable transferrable skills, preparing them for a range of progression routes. This V Level provides a strong foundation for progression to Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Careers within the education sector.
Entrance Requirements
The Department for Education has not prescribed mandatory entry requirements for the V Level but it is likely that providers will set their own expectations

Assessment
The V Level in Education is assessed through a combination of applied assignments and assessment of core knowledge. ~Students will complete realistic work-related projects, including planning learning sessions, supporting inclusive practice, conducting risk assessments, analysing assessment information and communicating with parents and professionals. Assessment focuses on both theoretical understanding and the ability to apply knowledge and skill to real educational scenarios
