A Typical Programme

For most students, the programme of study will include:

• Three Level 3* courses (or four for some)
• An enrichment programme – with a choice including study for the Extended Project Qualification** and the Gold DofE
• A tutor led programme
• Independent study periods

*Level 3 courses include A-levels and Technical qualifications (including BTECs and Cambridge Nationals).

** Many of our students have undertaken the HPQ qualification in Year 9, EPQ is an extended version of this, worth half an A-level. It allows students with or without the HPQ qualification to develop and complete a project that they have chosen. This can take many forms. It is a great way of students developing their study, research and organisation skills as well as their resilience to see a project from beginning to end.
