Secondary Admissions
As an Academy, the Academy Council is responsible for establishing the Admission Criteria and oversubscription criteria for the College; the Academy Council agreed to follow the admissions and oversubscription criteria set by Cambs County Council. These criteria have not been changed by the Academy Council following the establishment of the Academy. The responsibility for the administration of the Admissions process remains with the Local Authority.

Who will join Northstowe Secondary College?
As a brand new school, we will be growing gradually. The Primary provision at NLC will grow with the new town, with capacity in 2024-2025 to admit children into Reception only. As the new primary and sixth form phases will be growing gradually, we will be adding a year group each September to eventually grow to have a full provision for Primary (Years R- 6) Secondary (Years 7 – 11) and Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13). Open Days
Once a year we organise an open evening for our prospective Year 6 students, usually the October of the academic year prior to them starting in Year 7. You can find our more information here.
